Tripod Sock

You are probably wondering why the heck do you want socks for your tripod. Well, let’s just say its similar to why you’d wear socks. You like to keep your feet clean when wearing shoes correct? Well the same goes at least for me when it comes to my tripod? Ok I might be a little OCD, but I am sure there are some folks out there that feel the same way. This tip is for you folks.

Since there aren’t any photography manufacturers specifically producing tripod socks, I had to search at non-photography stores. Which brought me to an amazing Japanese discount store where most if not all items in the store cost $1.50 called Daiso.

The “Tripod” socks are actually chair socks. Yes, they’ve thought of everything. Fortunately for me, the leg size fits perfectly for my Joby Gorillapod SLR – Zoom and Focus.

It even fit my Ultimate Avenger C-Stand lighting configuration as you can see below. Thanks to K Hira Hara for the picture below.

Just note that similar to the socks you wear for your feet it’s not waterproof.

I’d love to hear what you think of the Tripod Socks.
