Yes, it is just The iPad and not iPAD 3. Are you going to get one? If you already have an iPad 2 is it necessary to upgrade?
Retina Display (2048x 1536 resolution) 44% Greater Saturation and A5X quad-core graphics
- Photographer Use: Portfolio presentation to potential clients.
iSight Camera (5 Megapixel backside illumination 5-element lens Hybrid IR Filter)
- Photographer Use: Test images or location scouting
- Photographer Use: Record Photo shoots Behind the Scenes
- Photographer Use: Concept creation, Social media, Client communication
4G LTE Next Generation Wireless
- Photographer Use: Access images or documents on the go at a considerably faster speed.
If you are a photographer with the original iPad, then I would strongly consider The New iPad. The iPad 1 and The New iPad cannot be compared. The New iPad hands down is better than the original.
If you have an iPad 2 like me, I don’t think it is worth to upgrade for existing features that are simply improved with the exception of the Voice dictation and 4G LTE.
So what do you photographers think? Will you upgrade?
