MeTHod To mY MaDNEss: Plan, plan, and plan.

Basicaly, I am a HIGHLY CONCEPTUAL photographer that produces EDGY POV images with high message recall because of the intense planning/research involved to create each image.

David Esquire
David Esquire’s neurotic obsession with photography began when he was a kid picking up his mother’s Kodak book on basic photography where he fell head over heels in love with the medium (his was a wedding & portrait photographer). Since becoming psychotically obsessed with photography, David’s creative universe in art and music rapidly expanded when he got out of school and was a drummer in a dance-rock band, modeled for Ralph Lauren, and performed as a street dancer in nightclubs in Chicago, Kansas City, Portland and more. All the while still snapping away at the camera capturing what he tends to see as some of the most romantic and sexy portraits in every day people like himself.
David Esquire’s roller-coaster photographic career spanning over nearly 3 decades has provided him with so many other exciting arenas to shoot in other than weddings and portraits. Like snowboarding, skateboarding, rollerblading and rock bands. Some of David’s favourite bands that he’s photographed so far have been Duran Duran (A dream come true and yes he’s a die-hard Duranie AND stuck in the 80′s!), Limp Bizkit, Suicide Machines, People Mover out of the UK and more.
In the 90′s David “retired” from shooting weddings. Being a bit of an adrenaline junkie, he went on to photograph more rock bands, models and extreme sports – where you would regularly find him hanging off of vert ramps, in mosh pits during events like; The Van’s Warped Tour and getting crashed into by extreme sports athletes at The Winter & Summer X Games.
All of this craziness eventually took him on the road, touring as the official photographer for the National Inline Skate Series. David was also blessed with being published in various inline skating magazines around the world in French, German, Spanish and English.
David believes that his clients are much more tech-savvy and “owning” their weddings today, which subsequently making them a LOT more fun.  So he’s returned to his roots bringing my adrenaline-fueled commercial and romantic style of shooting weddings & portraits and Loving It!
So there you have it, a glimpse into the “agile mind of David Esquire.” If you like what you’ve read and loving what you see, shoot David an email or ring him up so you can chat. David is a huge fan of coffee or if that’s not your speed, he’s happy to meet up over one of his favourite snacks; Nachos & Newcastles.

About the Author

Lawrence
As a weekend photographer, I found myself with limited time and limited resources in terms of expanding my photographic ability due to my career. Like many weekend photography warriors, there are only 2 hours on the weekdays and maybe 8 hours or so total on the weekend to learn and grow. These time constraints is what motivated me into creating this online photography resource. I needed a photography hub where all the information I referred to is stored in one easy to navigate online location. I see this more of my online repository of photography information gathered through time. I am very proud of the success of my blog offering of "Photographer Interview Series". You will read in-depth interviews from the photography world's famous photographers. Names like David Tejada, Nick Onken, Michael Grecco and David Bean to name a few. The interview series has also expanded to include weekend photographers and now wedding photographers with the similar goal of learning from each other. My goal is to evolve this site to be the premier go to resource for photographer interviews and equipment reviews.
